On the X account of the »Yu-Gi-Oh!« franchise was released today announcedthat the anime series “Yu-Gi-Oh! GX« will receive a remastered version. We summarize.

The revised version, which promises, among other things, better picture and sound quality, is titled “Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX 20th Remaster” and can be seen on Japanese television from April 2025 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series.

»Yu-Gi-Oh! GX” originally aired from October 2004 to March 2008 in 180 episodes. Studio Gallop was responsible for the production, with Hatsuki Tsuji (“Cardfight Vanguard”) taking over the position of director.

In Germany only the first 155 episodes were shown between 2006 and 2009 RTL TWObefore the series ran from 2013 to 2016 ProSieben MAXX was repeated. A German disc release was released by the publisher KSM anime.
