Saurabh Sharma, a 26 -year -old dancer, died in the Krishna river during the filming of actor and director Ritesh Deshmukh’s ‘Raja Shivaji’. Police confirmed this on Thursday. The incident took place on Tuesday evening in Sangam Mahuli village in Satara district. The village is located at the confluence of Krishna and Venna rivers and is about 250 kilometers from Mumbai.

A song from Raja Shivaji was filmed, in which colors were used. After the song was completed, Saurabh Sharma went to the bank of the river Krishna to wash his hands. After washing his hands, he went into the deep water of the river to bathe, but he was flowing into the water due to the strong flow. Upon receiving information of the accident, the police and the district administration were informed. After this, disaster relief and rescue team reached the scene and started searching.

Local private organizations also helped in this work. The search operation had to be stopped due to the darkness on Tuesday night. The search started on Wednesday morning and continued throughout the day, but Saurabh did not find any address. Finally at 7:30 am on Thursday, the police and rescue team pulled Saurabh’s body out of the river. Satara police have reported the incident as an accidental death. The police officer said the matter was being investigated. The entire team of the film is in shock due to Saurabh’s death.
Saurabh Sharma was a resident of Jodhpur in Rajasthan. To fulfill his dreams, he started a dance career in Mumbai. He was part of the choreography team of King Shivaji film. This song is designed by famous choreographer Remo D’Souza. Saurabh’s family has been informed about the accident and Ritesh Deshmukh’s team is in touch with them.

Raja Shivaji is a Marathi and Hindi language film based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Ritesh Deshmukh is directing the film and he is also playing the lead role. The film was filmed in beautiful areas of Satara. After the accident, filming of the film has been stopped.
