ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Points Table: Host England defeated Sri Lanka in the Manchester Test. Sri Lanka had given a target of 205 runs which host England achieved by losing 5 wickets. With this win, England has taken a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series. With the end of this match, there has been a big change in the points table of ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 (WTC).
Big loss to Pakistan
England got 12 points from the victory in the first test and it jumped 3 places in the points table to occupy the fourth position. England has played 14 matches so far and has won 7. Whereas, it has lost 6. England managed to draw one match. England’s point percentage has now become 41.07 which was earlier 36.54. Due to England’s long jump, Sri Lanka and South Africa have slipped one place each. Before the Manchester Test, Sri Lanka was at the fourth position and South Africa was at the fifth position. Whereas, Pakistan has also suffered a loss of one place and now it has reached from sixth to seventh position.

India has played 9 Test matches so far in the current WTC cycle, out of which it has won 6 matches. Team India has lost two matches and drawn one match. Australia is second in the points table of the World Test Championship. Australia has 62.50 percent points in 12 matches. New Zealand is third in the table with 50 percent points.
