The approximately one-hour “Undead Unluck” special is intended to tell a completely new story written by series creator Yoshifumi Tozuka and not in the original one of the same name Manga series occurs.
However, details of the content have not yet been revealed, but will follow within the next few months. The global release of the anime special is scheduled for the end of 2025. A specific date is still pending.
The associated series, which was directed by Yuuki Yase (“Fire Force”) at the David Production studio, was broadcast in 24 episodes on Japanese television between October 2023 and March 2024. The streaming service Disney+ offers these on demand in the original sound with German subtitles.
